CLOUD-BASED LAW PRACTICE
We use cloud-based law practice management software for managing client information and files, strictly complying with our data protection policies. It allows us to assimilate our clients’ information in one place and access it from anywhere. Such an approach has been crucial to our service system during the lockdown due to the outbreak of COVID-19.
CLIENT PORTAL
We have an actively operating client portal through which we exchange casefiles and other documents. It allows us to collaborate efficiently with our clients in a completely safe environment. Furthering our service quality, the clients are able to check and keep track of all the transactions, exchanges of documents case dates and updates, reducing confusions arising out of any communication gap.
USAGE OF DATA SECURITY THREAT MODELS
We protect our e-mails, client files and other recorded communication with our client using a data security threat model. Through proper encryption models, the said files and information are coded in a way that only those with the key can access the information.
VIDEO MEETINGS
We train our associates to indulge in video conferences to promote cross-platform communication. It allows us to deal with foreign clients more efficiently in a professional appearance. Such practice has proven to be very crucial when the courts in Bangladesh have started operating online during the lockdown due to the outbreak of COVID-19.
ELECTRONIC LEGAL RESOURCES
H&K has got access to wide varieties of legal research platforms such as Manupatra, Westlaw, Lexisnexis etc. We train our associates on researching through these platforms in improving their efficiency.
REDUCING CARBON FOOT PRINT
Due to storing our files on a cloud-based platform and interacting with our client through our client portal, the usage of paper is significantly reduced. We also have the policy to reduce the usage of papers to the minimal extent and rely primarily on e-documents.
CONTRIBUTION TO LEGAL JURISPRUDENCE
H&K understands the importance of contributing to the legal jurisprudence of the Bangladeshi Legal system, and thus dedicates much of its time to further the advance of the legal system as a whole. We have drafted several legislations and have also been actively contributing to the local
